Furnished accommodation in the Var, gîte in Provence, holiday rental with swimming pool (location saisonniere de maison de vacances avec piscine) in Pays de La Provence Verte, Var, in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region, upscale accommodation.
Article 1: Duration of stay
The tenant signing this contract concluded for a fixed period may not in any circumstances claim any right to remain in the premises at the end of the stay.
Article 2: Conclusion of the contract
The reservation becomes effective as soon as the tenant has sent the owner the signed contract and a deposit of 25% of the total rental amount. The contract is returned signed by the owner upon receipt of the deposit. The rental concluded between the parties to the present deed may in no case even partially benefit third parties, natural or legal persons, except with the written agreement of the owner. Any violation of this last paragraph would be likely to result in the immediate termination of the rental at the expense of the tenant, the rental proceeds remaining definitively acquired by the owner.
Article 3: Cancellation by the tenant
Any cancellation must be notified by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt.
a) Cancellation before arrival at the premises: The deposit remains with the owner. If the cancellation occurs less than 15 days before the date of stay, then the owner reserves the right to keep all of the sums paid.
If the tenant does not appear within 24 hours of the arrival date indicated on the contract, this contract becomes void and the owner can dispose of his lodging. The rental amount remains with the owner.
b) If the stay is shortened, the rental price remains with the owner. There will be no refund.
Article 4: Cancellation by the owner
The owner pays the tenant all of the sums paid, as well as compensation equal to the deposit paid.
Article 5: Arrival and departure
The tenant must appear on the specified day and time mentioned on this contract. In case of late or delayed arrival, the tenant must notify the owner.
The tenant must respect the departure times mentioned on this contract.
Article 6: Payment of the balance
The balance of the rental of the gîte is paid a maximum of 15 days before entering the premises by bank transfer, credit card, bank check or holiday vouchers.
Article 7: State of play
An inventory is drawn up with the tenant on arrival at the gîte. This inventory is the only reference in the event of a dispute concerning the inventory.
An inventory of the tenant’s exit will also be established.
Article 8: Security deposit or deposit
A security deposit, the amount of which is indicated on this contract, is requested by the owner. It is to be paid at the same time as the balance of the stay. After the contradictory establishment of the inventory of fixtures, this deposit is returned within a period not exceeding one week, after deduction of the cost of restoration of the premises if damage was observed.
Article 9: Use of the premises
The tenant must ensure the peaceful nature of the rental and make use of it in accordance with the destination of the premises.
Article 10: Capacity
This contract is established for a maximum capacity of people mentioned on this contract. If the number of tenants exceeds the capacity, the owner can refuse additional people. Any modification or breach of contract will be considered on the initiative of the client.
Article 11: Animals – Pets
This contract specifies that the tenant can stay in the company of a pet.
Article 12: Insurance
The tenant is responsible for all damage caused by him. He is required to be insured by a resort type insurance contract for these various risks.
Article 13: Fire
For security reasons, in particular fire fighting, the tenant and his occupants cannot smoke or vape inside the Maison d’hotes. Ashtrays are available outside the rental.
Article 14: Tourist tax
The tourist tax is due per person per day. It comes at an additional cost and must be paid to the owner. It is currently about 1.00 euro per person per day.
